200 limit!

surprise! everybody's favorite website Flickr happened to pull a fast one on me yesterday which left me, instead of praising their genius, suddenly cursing their existence. Okay, that's a bit extreme, but here's what happened. After loading a hefty chunk of travel pictures I noticed that my old sets had disappeared and the cover photo for my bremen set had changed. Where did all the pictures go? Apparently with a free account you're allowed 200 photos tops, which, although generous, is NOT something I knew. (Okay, maybe I read about it somewhere when I signed up but who remembers these details 200 pictures later, without ANY KIND OF WARNING?) As each new picture loaded the system erased one picture from the beginning, pictures that I painstakingly edited, cropped, uploaded (and most likely deleted off my hard drive, cleaner-upper that I am). So I'm just ranting to WARN ALL OF YOU out there with free accounts...in case you're also nearing the 200 mark. Now I guess I'll finally purchase the account upgrade, but with a bad taste in my mouth. grunt.
